Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
November 12, 1985
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council
of the City of Arden Hills met in regular session at the City
Hall on Monday, November 12, 1985, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present:
Mayor Woodburn and
Council members Peck and Hansen.
Councilman Sather appeared
about 7:40 o'clock p.m. Councilman Hicks was absent.
Also in attendance were Engineer Christoffersen, Planner
Miller, Treasurer Lamb, Public Works Supervisor Raddatz, C1erk-
Administrator McNiesh, and Deputy Clerk Zehm.
Engineer Christoffersen reported that the plans and
specifications for Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-85-2, Edgewater
Estates, have been prepared. He requested that he be authorized
to advertise for bids.
Council member Hansen introduced and moved the adoption of
the following resolution:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-59
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-85-2, EDGEWATER ESTATES,
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREON
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council
on September 9, 1985 (Resolution No. 85-42), the City Engineer
has prepared plans and specifications
"Plans")
for
(the
Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-85-2, Edgewater Estates (the "Improve-
ment") and has presented the Plans to the Council for approval,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, THAT:

1. The Plans, in the form submitted to the
Council, be hereby approved 1
2. The Clerk-Administrator be instructed to file a
copy of the Plans and Specifications in her
office in the City Halll
3. The Clerk-Administrator prepare and cause to be
inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the
official paper of the City, and in the
Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for the
construction of the Improvement which shall
specify the work to be done, call for bids upon
the basis of a cash payment for such work, and
shall state that
(a) The bids will be received by the Clerk-
Administrator until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on
December 19, 1985 (or such later date as
the Clerk-Administrator deems advisable or
necessary under the circumstances) at the
City Hall at which time and place they
will be publicly opened by the Clerk-
Administrator and the City Engineer, will
then be tabulated, and will subsequently
be considered by the Councill and
(b) No bids shall be considered unless sealed
and filed with the Clerk-Administrator and
accompanied by a cash deposit, certified
check or bid bond payable to the Clerk-
Administrator in the amount of ten percent
(10%) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Peck and, upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk-Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on the 12th day of November, 1985 with
the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a
full, true and complete transcript thereof insofar as the same
relates to the proposed Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-85-2, Edgewater
Estates.
