RESOLUTION SUPPORTING IMPROVEMENT TO
THE INTERSECTION OF HODGSON ROAD AT
THE ENTRANCE TO CHIPPEWA MIDDLE SCHOOL
.
WHEREAS, on June 24, 1985, a third grader was Involved
In an accident whl Ie crossing Hodgson Road at the entrance to
Chippewa Middle School, and
WHEREAS, this Is another Incident In the history of
problems at this Intersection, and
WHEREAS, the amount of traffic using Hodgson Road
which, due to the building and development In the northern part
of Ramsey County and southern Anoka County, will Increase the
volume even further, and
WHEREAS, Chippewa Middle School Is used most exten-
sively for school programs and City athletic programs through-
out the year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden Hills
C~ty Councl I supports Improvement of the access to Chippewa
Middle School and encourages the School Board of Independent
School District 621 to review the situation and to cooperate
with the governmental Jurisdictions Involved, In order to
provide a safe access for all residents.
