Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota

June 24, 1985
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of.Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 24th of
June, 1985, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members of the Council were present: Mayor
Woodburn and Councilmen Sather, Peck and Hicks; and the following
was absent: Councilman Hansen.
Councilman Hicks introduced and moved the adoption of the
following resolution:
RESOLUTION No. 85-24
RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF
REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-85-2,
EDGEWATER ESTATES
WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting sanitary sewer,
water main, bituminous paving, aggregate base, concrete curb and
gutter, storm sewer and other drainage, and related improvements
on a 21.5 acre tract of land located in the City of Arden Hills

along the southeasterly shore of Round Lake immediately west of
and abutting Old Highway No. 10, which petition was filed with
the Council on June -r~ 1985,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA THAT:
1. The petition be declared to have been signed by
the requisite percentage of owners of property

by the foregoing improvements as
by Section 429.035 of Minnesota
as amended, and
The petition be referred to the City Engineer
who ~s hereby instructed and directed to
prepare an analysis and report as to whether
the proposed improvements are feasible and
should be made as proposed or in connection
with some other improvement and what the
estimated cost of the improvements would be,
such report to the Council to be prepared with
all convenient speed--subject, however, to the
City's receipt from Gerald L. McGuire, the
petitioner, of a letter in which he agrees to
pay for all costs of the preparation of the
aforesaid feasibility report if his Edgewater
Estates project is abandoned.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution

was duly seconded by Councilman Sather and, upon vote being taken
thereon, all of the Councilmen voted in favor thereof, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk-Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do
hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on the 24th day of June, 1985, with the
original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full,
true and complete transcript insofar as the same relates to
Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-85-2, Edgewater Estates.
