RESOLUTION NO. 93-60
A RESOLUTION ORDERING A PRELIMINARY
FEASIBILITY REPORT IN THE MATTER OF
1993/1994 STORM WATER MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT
THE
WHEREAS, the city has implemented a storm Water Management Plan
that will assist with identifying storm water
improvements and maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the storm water utility
fees collected will be used to fund storm water
related costs which have accrued during 1992 and 1993;
and
WHEREAS, a reserve account will be established to fund future
large scale storm water projects by escrowing
approximately 20% to 30% of the annual storm water
utility fees collected; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that it should consider
improving certain property by reviewing a 1993 and
1994 storm Water Management Plan; and

WHEREAS, the 1994 storm Water Management Plan has identified
two improvement projects, one at Perry Park and the
second consists of replacing an existing storm sewer
system that drains water from the pond located between
Valentine Crest Road and County Road F to Valentine
Lake; and
WHEREAS, the Council must first secure a feasibility study in
order to consider making the improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City
of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
This matter shall be referred to Maier stewart and
Associates, Inc. who is requested to provide to the city
Council a report advising, in a preliminary manner, whether
the proposed improvements are feasible and whether the
improvements should thus be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvements and the estimated
cost of the improvements as recommended.
