RESOLUTION NO. 93-28
HONORING EAGLE SCOUT SCOTT MCLEAN FERGUSON
WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council
recognizes that the highest rank awarded by the Boy Scouts
of America is the rank of Eagle Scout, and
WHEREAS, Scott McLean Ferguson of Arden
Hills has completed the requirements for the rank of Eagle
Scout by earning 21 merit badges, planning and directing a
major community service project and serving in a troop
leadership position, and
.
WHEREAS, Scott McLean Ferguson distinguished
himself by leading members of his troop in an extensive
service project relating to installation and construction of
benches, trail markers, waste receptacles and signage along
the trail system in the City of Arden Hills, and
WHEREAS, Scott McLean Ferguson earned not
only the traditional merit badges of the Boy Scouts but
chose such elective badges as electronics, computers,
engineering, aviation, skiing and American business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the
Arden Hills City Council, on behalf of Council, Staff and
all the citizens of Arden Hills, express the sincere
gratitude and congratulations to Scott McLean Ferguson for
attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and for his dedicated
service to the community.
