RESOLUTION 93 - 21
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND SOLICITATION OF
COMPETITIVE BIDS FOR THE REPAIR, REFURBISHING,
AND REPAINTING OF THE FERNWOOD AVENUE WATER TOWER
WHEREAS, prior inspection of the Fernwood Avenue Water Tower revealed the need for structural
repairs and modifications; and
w1iEREAS, visuai inspection of lhe paint both inside and outside said water tower revealed chipping,
scratching, and chalking; and
WHEREAS, the City has established long term need for the storage capacity of said water tower.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
1.
Maier Stewart & Associates, Inc. is designated as the Project Engineer for this improvement and
shall coordinate, with the Public Works Director, the preparation of contract plans and
specifications for repairs, refurbishing, and repainting of the Fernwood Water Tower.
2. The costs incurred by Arden Hills for the completion of this project will be fmanced internally,
Passed and adopted this 29th day of March, 1993. /
