RESOLUTION NJ. 92-17
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRECINCT llClUNI:lMUES
WHEREl\S, pursuant to Minnesota statutes 204B.14 SUlxlivision 3, the city must
establishing precinct boundaries within 60 days after the adoption of the
state Legislative Redistricting Plan, and
WHEREl\S, the City of Arden Hills is 1tiholly contained within Legislative
District 53A.
HJW, 'I'HEREFam, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city of Arden Hills establishes
precinct boundaries shown on the attached official map and described as
follows:
Precinct 1:
Beginning at the intersection of the Sault st. Marie Railroad Tracks and
Lexington Avenue thence southerly to County Road D, thence extending westerly
through Lake Josepune to the intersection of Glenhill Road and Trunk Highway
51 (Snelling Avenue), thence northerly along Snelling Avenue (Old Highway 10),
to the intersection of Old Highway 10 and the Sault st. Marie Railroad Tracks,
thence easterly to the point beginning.
Precinct 2:
Beginning at the intersection of the Old Highway 10 and the Sault st. Marie
Railroad Tracks, thence southerly along Old Highway 10 (Snelling Avenue) to
the intersection of Glenhill Road and Snelling Avenue thence westerly along a
line through Northwestern College connecting with County Road D to the
intersection of County Road D and Cleveland Avenue, thence northerly along
Cleveland Avenue to stowe Avenue, thence easterly to the intersection of stowe
Avenue and New Brighton Road, thence northerly to the intersection of New
Brighton Road and the Sault st. Marie Railroad Tracks to the point of
beginning .
Precinct 3:
Beginning at the intersection of I-694 and Lexington Avenue, thence the
southerly to the intersection of Lexington Avenue and Sault st. Marie Railroad
Tracks, thence westerly to the intersection of the Sault st. Marie Railroad
Tracks and Cleveland Avenue, thence northerly along a line parallel with I-35W
to I -694, thence easterly along I -694 to the point of beginning.
Precinct 4:
Beginning at the intersection of County Road I and Lexington Avenue, thence
southerly to the intersection of the Sault st. Marie Railroad Tracks and I-
694, thence westerly along I-694 to I-35W, thence northerly along a line
parallel with I-35W to the intersection of County Road I, thence northerly
along County Road I to the point of beginning.
