CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
RESOLUTION NO. 91-40
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND
UTILITY EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, certain drainage and utility easements located in
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 1, Northwoods were dedicated to public use as
part of the development approval process for the plat of Northwoods
(herein the "original drainage and utility easements"); and
WHEREAS, Lot 2, Block 1, Northwoods has been resubdivided into
Tracts A and B pursuant to Registered Land Survey No. 481; and
WHEREAS, the original drainage and utility easements which
were previously located in Lot 2, Block 1, Northwoods are now
located in Tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 481; and
WHEREAS, Group Health, Inc. is the current fee owner of Lot 1,
Block 1, Northwoods and Tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 481;
and
WHEREAS, Group Health, Inc. has reconfigured the areas on Lot
1, Block 1, Northwoods and Tract B, Registered Land Survey No. 481
which will be required for drainage and utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, by separate instrument, Group Health, Inc. has, or,
in conjunction with the approval of this Resolution, will dedicate
appropriate drainage and utility easements to the City of Arden
Hills for the reconfigured areas thereby eliminating the need for
the original drainage and utility easements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills conducted a public hearing on
the 10TH day of JUNE , 1991 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the
Arden Hills City Hall preceded by two weeks published and posted
notice and preceded by lO-days mailed notice to the owners of
affected property; and
WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council at the conclusion of the
public hearing determined that it is in the public's interest to
vacate the original drainage and utility easements.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Arden Hills City
Council hereby:
1. Vacates the drainage and utility easements located on
Lot 1, Block 1, Northwoods which were dedicated as part
of the plat of Northwoods excepting from this vacation
that certain drainage and utility easement located over,
under and across the West 15.0 feet of Lot 1, Block 1,
Northwoods which shall remain in full force and effect;
and
2. Vacates the drainage and utility easements located on
Lot 2, Block 1, Northwoods which were dedicated as part
of the plat of Northwoods; and
3. Determines that this proceeding is now complete; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Administrator is hereby
directed to file a copy of this Resolution with the Ramsey County
Auditor to serve as the notice of completion of these proceedings
and to be entered upon the transfer records of Ramsey County.
