CHATHAM CXXJRr AND CHATHAM CIRCLE CUL-DE-SACS
IN '!HE 1991 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE ~
WHEREAS, the owners of all parcels ab.rtting the Chatham Court am
Chatham Circle cul-de-sacs have suJ:mi.tted petitions to the City to be included in
the bituminous overlay in1provement of the Chatham area, as outlined in the 1991
Pavement Management project; am
WHEREAS, said property owners have received co=espondence frOlll the
City indicating that in order to avoid the necessity of a public hearing relating
to the inclusion of the Chatham Court and Chatham Circle cul-<le-sacs in such
improvement project, it would be nec<?"""ary to request that 100 percent of the
costs of such improvements be assessed against the abltting parcels of lam; and
WHEREAS, in response to such City co=espondence, petitions frOlll
residents of Chatham Court and Chatham Circle were suhnitted to the City, with
all abltting property owners signatures requesting inclusion in the :i:nprovement
project and that 100 percent of the cost of such improvement be assessed to all
abltting property owners;
NCM, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council detennines the
petitions suJ:mi.tted by all property owners abltting the Chatham Court and Chatham
Circle cul-de-sacs are sufficient to permit the City to proceed without the need
for an additional public hearing.
