RESOIillION RELATING 'IO IMPROVEMENI' NO. ST-89-2 OAK AVENUE
DOCUIRING CDSTS 'IO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENI' ROLL
WHEREAS, Illg:lrovement No. sr-89-2 (Oak Avenue) relates to the
invrovement of Oak Avenue and adjacent areas by installation of storm sewer
utilities, and
WHEREAS, a =ntract has been let and approved by Arden Hills on May
8, 1989, in the amount of $11,715.00 and other expenses incurred or to be
incurred by the city in the making of said invrovement in the amount of
$12,403.20, so that the total =st of the :i:nq:lrovement will be $24,118.20, and of
this cost the City will pay 50%.
NCMT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City CounCil of the city of
Arden Hills, Minnesota as follows:
1. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $12,059.10.
2. The Clerk Administrator, together with the assistance of the City
Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially
assessed for such work against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land
within the invrovement affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by
law. He shall file a =flY of the proposed assessment roll in his for public
inspection. The Clerk Administrat= may arrange for the assistance of the Data
Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed
assessment roll.
3. 'Ihe Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion of such proposed
assessment, notify the Council thereof for their further action and for their
setting on an assessment hearing therefor.
4. This Resolution shall be effective as of the date hereof.
