RESOLUTION NO. 90-22
RESOLUTION REQUESTING CANCELLATION OF FUTURE TAXES AND BALANCE
OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR PARCELS B AND C BEGINNING 1/1/91
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has acquired Parcels Band C,
adjacent to the city Hall complex on the closing dates of January
5, 1989 and January 5, 1990 respectively; and
WHEREAS, the property identification number for Parcel B is
22-30-23-21-0139, and for Parcel C, the ID number is
22-30-23-21-0140; and
WHEREAS, the legal description for Parcel B is
the West 200' of the following described parcel; the NE 1/4
of the NW 1/4 of S22, T30, R23, exc. the S 3/4 thereof and
the W 397.5' thereof; and
WHEREAS, the legal description for Parcel C is
the East 220' of the following described parcel; the NE 1/4
of the NW 1/4 of S22, T30, R23, exc. the S 3/4 thereof and
exc. the W 397.5' thereof (containing 61,292 sq. ft.); and
WHEREAS, the 1990 Statement of property Tax Payable shows the
city of Arden Hills owing $1,199.16 in special assessments on
Parcel Band $1,201.32 owing on Parcel C; and
WHEREAS, this property is exempt from property tax and Ramsey
County collecting special assessments on city-owned property
serves no useful purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden Hills City council
directs the city Administrator to request the Ramsey county
Taxation Dept. and Records Administration to cancel any future
taxes and the balance of special assessments beginning January 1,
1991.
Adopted by the Arden Hills city Council this 30th day of April,
1990.
