RESOLUTION NO. 90- 14
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION PROCLAMING MINNESOTA VOLUNTEER WEEK
APRIL 22 - 28, 1990
WHEREAS, the hard work and commitment of volunteers have made our
community a better place in which to live; and
WHEREAS, volunteer ism has fostered the development of partnerships between
the public and private sectors of the City of Arden Hills, Ramsey County,
Independent School Districts No. 621 and 623, etc., to face community
challenges; and
WHEREAS, volunteers are a vital resource to provide for the well-being of
our community and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council wishes to thank our volunteers for
their dedicated service and generous spirit;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Thomas R. Sather, Mayor of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, do hereby proclaim the week of April 22 - 28, 1990 as
Arden Hills Volunteer Recognition Week
and urge all citizens to CELEBRATE MINNESOTA VOLUNTEERS.
Adopted by the Arden Hills City Council this 9th day of April, 1990.
