CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-06
RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING JANUARY 20, 1990 AS EDMOND-OLLHOFF DAY
WHEREAS, Private First Class Paul R, Edmond and Corporal Walter L,
Ollhoff, were two area soldiers who served their country with distinction;
and
WHEREAS, Private Edmond was killed in action on June 9, 1969 during the
Vietnam War; and
WHEREAS, Corporal Ollhoff was awarded many ribbons and medals during his
service in World War II.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Arden Hills wishes to honor
these men for their contributions to our country.
THEREFORE, the Arden Hills City Council has proclaimed that January 20,
1990 is designated as Edmond-Ollhoff Day in the City of Arden Hills.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the members of the newly instituted
Edmond-Ollhoff Veterans of Foreign Wars Post "2609 and Auxiliary will read
and present this Resolution to the families of these servicemen at their
Charter Dinner,
Adopted by the Arden Hills City Council this 8th day of January, 1990,
