CITY OF ARDEN HILLS

RESOLUTION NO. 89-34
RESOLUTION APPOINTING JEROME FILLA AS CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, former City Attorney James Lynden has resigned his position; and
WHEREAS, Arden Hills was in need of a civil attorney to represent the
City; and
WHEREAS, prosecuting attorney Jerome Filla, associated with the law firm
of Peterson, Franke & Riach, had consented to act as acting city attorney
until such time as a permanent appointment could be made; and
WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council requested proposals from interested
legal firms and conducted interviews with seven firms on Monday, May 15,
1989, at their work session; and
WHEREAS, it was the concensus of the Council that Mr. Jerome Filla would
best serve the City's needs in the area of legal representation.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden Hills City Couneil hereby
appoints Jerome Filla as the City Attorney for the City of Arden Hills,
effective May 30, 1989.
