RESOLUTION NO. 89-26
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills and the Ramsey County Public Works
Department have determined exeess road right-of-way exists at the
southwest corner of County Road E-2 and New Brighton Road; and
WHEREAS, the exeess right-of-way is beyond what is required to fulfill the
requirements of the Ramsey County major street plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has agreed to accept this excess
right-of-way when released.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ramsey County Board of
Commissioners hereby releases to the City of Arden Hills, excess road
right-of-way herein described below:
All that part of New Brighton Road and County Road E-2 contiguous to
Lot 3. Rohleder's Home and Garden Acres, Ramsey County, Minnesota
described as follows:

Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence Northerly
parallel with the East line of said plat, 135.00 feet; thence
Northwesterly deflecting left 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds 28 feet
to the Easterly extension of the North line of said Lot 3; thence
Westerly along said line 104.00 feet; thence Southerly parallel with
the East line of said plat to a curve, said curve being the
Northeasterly line of said Lot 3; thence Easterly and Southerly along
said curve to the point of beginning.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this release includes all ownership,
control and responsibilities associated with the above described parcel.
Adopted by the Arden Hills City Council this 30th day of May, 1989.
