WOODBURN FOR HIS YEARS OF <br />SERVICE TO THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT <br />AND ACCEPTANCE OF HIS RESIGNATION AS MAYOR, AND DECLARING <br />THAT A VACANCY EXISTS FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert L. Woodburn has faithfully and diligently served the <br />City of Arden Hills for many years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert L. Woodburn has been very responsible to the residents <br />and business community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert L. Woodburn has worked to improve the community and <br />has contributed immeasurably to the excellence of government in Arden <br />Hills by serving on the Board of Appeals, Civic Center Committee, Finance <br />Committee, Municipal Building Committee, Planning Commission, as a <br />Counci1member from January 1, 1974 through May 11, 1981, and as Mayor from <br />May 11, 1981 to the present; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a letter of resignation has been received by the Arden Hills <br />Council from Mayor Robert L. Woodburn, effective January 1, 1989, and the <br />City Council has accepted said resignation. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that a vacancy exists on the Arden Hills <br />Council for the office of Mayor for the unexpired term, which is until <br />December 31, 1990. <br /> <br />Passed by the Arden Hills Council this 3rd day of January, 1989. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~/ <br /><' / <br />i' ,_ :' ,(/;;',:. <br /> <br /><P:..-/.." <br /> <br />i / <br />/i j,f///( ..:,' '.'
