RESOLUTION NO. 88-14
APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSMENTS RELATING
TO CONSOLIDATED WATER
IMPROVEMENTS NOS. 68-2 AND 68-3
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the assessment roll for Consolidated Water
Improvements Nos. 68-2 and 68-3 as adopted September 28, 1970, was
filed and certified to the County Auditor of Ramsey County, on October
28, 1970, for the purpose of including installments thereof to be
collected along with real estate taxes conunencing on 1971; and

WHEREAS, a hearing on supplemental assessments and
reassessments in respect to Consolidated Water Improvements Nos. 68-2
and 68-3 was held on November 9, 1970, and on November 10, 1970,
assessments for Consolidated Water Improvements Nos. 68-2 and 68-3 were
amended as provided by said resolution of said date, to be certified
and filed in the office of the County Auditor of Ramsey County, on
Dece~ber 10, 1970; and
WHEREAS, since November 10, 1970, a number of parcels of
property contained within said assessment roll as amended have been
divided and conveyed by a previous property owner: and
WHEREAS, the County Auditor of Ramsey County requires that
apportionment of the original assessment against each original tract
where it has later been divided, sold or conveyed, be made by the City
Council of the City of Arden Hills, in order that the proper assessment
can be extended by the County Auditor against each parcel of property
thereafter, conunencing with an assessment to be collected in the year
1971 and thereafter.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills
does hereby make the following apportionment of original assessments
roll of September 28, 1970 and as amended as of November 10, 1970,
against the following described properties:

PROCLAMATION DECLARING MAY 1 - 7 MINNESOTA CITIES WEEK
WHEREAS, cities are a grass roots governmental system which represents
a close relationship between elected officials and citizens; and
WHEREAS, Some 80 percent of the people in Minnesota choose to raise
their families and make their homes within our state's cities; and
WHEREAS, Cities provide the basic services necessary to insure the
health, safety, and well being of the people - services such water, streets,
and police and fire protection; and
WHEREAS, Cities exhibit amazing versatility in funding unique ways to
cost effectively provide these services to their residents; and
WHEREAS, Cities are essential to the future protection and development
of our resources; and
WHEREAS, It is appropriate
city employees, and volunteers in
vitality of our communities;
to recognize the work of city officials,
providing for the economic growth and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Robert L. Woodburn, Mayor of the City of Arden
Hills, do hereby proclaim the first week of May to be MINNESOTA CITIES WEEK, in
Arden Hills, and urge citizens to take this opportunity to learn more about
city government and how they can become more involved.
