Resolution No. 87-66
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES
FOR ANIMAL CONTROL
WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Code, Section 5-59, provides that
impoundment fees are to be established by Resolution, and,

WHEREAS, the Animal Pound Agreement between the City of Arden
and Brighton Veterinary Hospital establishes additional charges for
control;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following charges are
hereby established:

$10.00 per animal for pick up.
$ 5.00 per day for boarding dogs.
$ 4.00 per day for boarding cats.
$ 5.00 per day for isolating dogs.
$ 4.0U per day for isolating cats.
$14.00 per animal weighing up to 39 Ibs., delivered
by the City, to be destroyed in a proper and humane manner.
$17.00 per animal weighing 40 Ibs. or more, delivered
by the City to be destroyed in a proper and humane manner.
$11.00 per animal to dispose of dead animals delivered
by the City.
Owner of claimed animals will pay 100% of medical charges.
$75.00 per month for administration fee.
Shots/Vaccination Charges:
a) $13.00 for Rabies shots.
b) $ 6.00 for Distemper/Hepatitis shots; $1.35 without
owner.
c) Parva Virus Vaccination for claimed dogs $1.00.
d) Parva Virus Vaccination for unclaimed dogs $.50.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Certificate of Insurance, for
limits set forth in the Animal Pound Contract, shall be submitted to the
City annually;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution supercedes Resolution
Nos. 80-6, 80-8, 81-42 and 85-6; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be effective as
of November 1, 1987.
