RESOLUTION NO. 87-56
COMMENDING DONALD R. LAMB
WHEREAS. Don Lamb was appointed by Mayor Crepeau as Arden Hills'
Treasurer on May 12. 1975, and
WHEREAS, in his years as Treasurer, Don has ensured the financial
health of the City by judicious investments and constant, careful scrutiny of
all expenditures,
and conscientously labored to keep tax rates at the lowest
possible level, and
WHEREAS, in the pursuit of these objectives, he has faithfully
attended all Finance Committee meetings and contributed his expertise to their

deliberations, and attended all Council meetings in their entirety,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Arden Hills City
Council, on behalf of itself and all the citizens of Arden Hills, expresses its
sincere gratitude and thanks for these years of service, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council extends its best wishes
to Don in his retirement as he continues his many volunteer activities in the
community.
Adopted by the Arden Hills City Council this 31st day of August,
1987.
