RESOLUTION NO. 87-15
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR SS-83-6 AND W-86-2
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
improvement known as SS-83-6 and W-86-2, being sanitary sewer and
watermain extension south of Round Lake, in the Village of Arden Hills,
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
F. M. Frattalone Excavating.............$564,428.02
Austin P. Keller Company.................586,847.50
Lametti & Sons, Inc......................587,OOO.OO
Northdale Construction Company...........597,765.65
Barbarosa and Sons, Inc..................660,092.00
and
WHEREAS, it appears that F. K. Frattalone Excavating, of St.
Paul, MN, is the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council of
Arden Hills, MN:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into the attached contract with F. K. Frattalone of St. Paul, MN,
in the name of the Village of Arden Hills, for the sanitary sewer and
watermain extension, south of Round Lake, according to the plans and
, specifications therefore approved by the Village Council and on file in
the office of the Clerk Administrator.
2. The Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and
directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their
bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
