RESOLUTION NO. 97-24
RESOLUTION DISESTABLISHING AND ESTABLISHING
MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey and the City of Arden Hills have authorized the
transfer of roadway jurisdiction between Ramsey County and the City of Arden Hills under the
1991 Ramsey County Roadway Consolidation Program; and
WHEREAS, Snelling Avenue from TH 51 to County Road E has been transferred to City
of Arden Hills' jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, County Road F from Hamline Avenue to Lexington Avenue has been
transferred to Ramsey County's jurisdiction; and
. WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that the streets
hereinafter described should be either designated or undesignated as Municipal State Aid streets,
as described herein; and, under the provisions of Minnesota Law.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills
that the road described as follows, to-wit:
Approximately 0.44 miles of County Road F between Hamline Avenue and Lexington
Avenue.
be disestablished as a Municipal State Aid street of said City subject to the approval of the
Commissioner of Transportation at the State of Minnesota.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that the
roads described as follows, to-wit:
Approximately 0.86 miles of Snelling Avenue from TH 51 to County Road E
be, and hereby are established, located, and designated as Municipal State Aid streets of said City
subject to the approval of the commissioner of Transportation at the State of Minnesota.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his
consideration and, that upon his approval of the respective designations of said roads or portions
thereof, that same be constructed, improved, and maintained as Municipal State Aid Streets of the
City of Arden Hills.
