RESOLUTION NO. 96-05
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE 1996 TRAIL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously reviewed the project as part ofthe Parks Capital
Improvement Program and 1996 Budget process; and
WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Committee with Staff have been actively preparing a Trail
Development Plan for the City of Arden Hills; and
WHEREAS, an eight foot wide bituminous trail extending from Colleen Avenue north to the
Arden Vista Court cul-de-sac has been budgeted in the Park Fund for 1996; and
WHEREAS, the segments from Colleen A venue west to North Snelling Avenue and from
Colleen Avenue south to Briarkno\l Drive will be prepared as possible additional
. alternates; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications need to be obtained before the solicitation of competitive
bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota that MSA
Consulting Engineers, is hereby ordered to prepare plans and specifications for the drafting of the
1996 Trail Development Project.
