A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF THE
BIKE TRAIL IMPROVEMENT OF 1996
WHEREAS pursuant to Resolution 96-14, competitive bids were solicited and received for the
1996 Bike Trail improvement as set forth in the bid tabulation attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference; and
WHEREAS the City Council has considered the amount of the bids and the responsibility of the
bidders and determined that Thor Construction, Inc., is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota:

1.
The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the
City, such contract with Thor Construction, Inc., as is approved by the City Attorney for
the completion of Alternate A of the 1996 Bike Trail improvement according to the
approved plans and specifications designated in Resolution 96-14.
2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City, such
contract with Thor Construction, Inc., as is approved by the City Attorney for the
completion of Alternates Band C of the 1996 Bike Trail improvement pending the
approval of grants applied for by the City of Arden Hills.
3. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to forthwith return to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids upon execution of the c<)lfiract above specified.
