RESOLUTION NO. 95-59
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR PROPOSED 1995 STORM WATER MAINTENANCE PROJECTS (509 Project)
WHEREAS, the City has identified a number of storm water maintenance projects within the
City of Arden Hills; and
WHEREAS, the City has created a special enterprise fund to cover the costs of such projects;
and
WHEREAS, staff has reconunended that in 1995 and 1996 improvements be made to the outlet
from Lake Josephine; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications need to be obtained before the solicitation of competitive
bids can occur; and
WHEREAS, the City engineer has estimated the costs of these two projects to be
approximately $102,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has also directed the City Engineer to prepare preliminary plans
and cost estimates for water level control measures on Karth Lake.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Arden Hills, Minnesota
that MSA Consulting Engineers, is hereby designated to prepare plans and specifications for the
proposed storm water maintenance proj ects.
