RESOLUTION NO. 95-72
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE RETROFIT OF LIFT STATION NUMBER 6
WHEREAS, The City Engineer has performed a review of all of the Sanitary Sewer Utility Lift
Stations; and
WHEREAS, Such review has resulted in a recommendation to retrofit Lift Station Number 6 to
submersible pumps because of operating and safety concerns; and
WHEREAS, The 1995 Sanitary Sewer Utility Capital rmprovement Plan (CIP) did not
contemplate the modification of Life Station Number 6 project, and;
WHEREAS, Staff has recommended a higher priority be given the Lift Station Number 6
project then the alarm system retrofit project that is funded in the 1995 CIP.
_ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota that MSA Consulting Engineers, is hereby designated to prepare plans and
specifications for the proposed retrofit of Sanitary Sewer Utility Lift Station Number 6.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
