CITY OF ARDEN HILLS RAMSEY COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. 95-82 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE 1996 BUDGET ESTIMATE FROM THE RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF FOR 1996 LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICE WHEREAS, The City of Arden Hills is a party to an renewable Law Enforcement Services Agreement with Ramsey County; and WHEREAS, Part IV of said agreement specifies communication requirements by the City to the County to evidence intent to review the budget estimates; and WHEREAS, Ramsey County has provided the City with a budget estimate of delivering 1996 law enforcement services of$520,485.77; and WHEREAS, The City of Arden Hills has adopted the 1996 budget including police protection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the City of Arden Hills accept the 1996 budget estimate provided by the County to provide 1996 contract law enforcement services. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 11 TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1995. ATTEST: . CITY OF ARDEN HILLS RAMSEY COUNTY PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, The most-recent United States Census found that approximately 6,000 persons over the age of 18 in the conununities of the Mounds View School District do not have a high school diploma; and WHEREAS, There is a continuing need for literacy, adult basic education and English as a second language; and WHEREAS, It is important for the conununity to know that such programs are available through the Adult Basic Education program of the Mounds View School District; and WHEREAS, The Literacy Action Council of the District 621 ABE program will host an open house "Celebration of Literacy" for the public on Saturday, November 4 at the Ralph R. Reeder Conununity Education Center in New Brighton; , NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor, Councilmembers, and the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do hereby proclaim November 4, 1995, as "Celebration of Literacy Day" in Arden Hills.
