A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY REPORT
AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARlNG IN THE MATTER OF
THE 1996 STREET IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted November 13, 1995, a preliminary
report has been prepared by MSA, Consulting Engineers, Inc. With reference to
the improvement of various streets within the City of Arden Hills, and this report
was received by the Council on December 11, 1995; and,
WHEREAS, informational meetings have been scheduled to gather public input regarding the
improvement on the 9th of January of 1996; and,
WHEREAS, the preliminary report shall be updated prior to a formal Public Hearing, scheduled
for the 29th of January of 1996,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota:
1.
The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the
report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost
of the improvement of $857,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 29th day of
January of 1996, in the Council Chambers of the City of New Brighton City Hall,
at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing
and improvements as required by law.
