RESOLUTION NO. 94-57
RESOLUTION FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF ARDEN HILLS REPRESENTATIVES
TO THE RAMSEY COUNTY HIGHWAY 96 TASK FORCE FOR THE
REDEVELOPMENT OF HIGHWAY 96
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Ramsey County have entered
into a memorandum of understanding which provides for the consolidation of
roadway jurisdictions in Ramsey County; and
WHEREAS, the consolidation plan provides for the tumback of State Trunk Highway 96 from
State Trunk Highway 61 to Old State Trunk Highway 8 to Ramsey County; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County intends to accept the jurisdictional change on December 1, 1994;
and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County has asked Arden Hills to appoint three representatives to a
Highway 96 task force that would develop a concept report and related planning
documents for desired roadway improvements; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota: that the following three individuals be appointed as Arden Hills representatives to the
Highway 96 Task Force:
Dan McCallum from the Economic Development Committee
Dick Roessler from the Public Works\Safety Committee, and
Dan Winkel, Public Works Superintendent.
