RESOLUTION NO. 99-41
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT
IN THE MATTER OF THE
1999/2000 SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for rehabilitation of various components of
the City of Arden Hills sanitary sewer system, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law and the attached bids were received complying with the advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer and Public Works Director have recommended the additional
work scope contemplated in Bid Alternate #1 be undertaken with the base contract; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Lametti and Sons, Inc. of Hugo, Minnesota is the lowest responsible
bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden I-Iills,
Minnesota:
I, The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized and directed to enter into
contract with Lametti and Sons, Inc, as approved by the City Attorney, for
completion of the 1999/2000 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Program, according to
the plans and specifications developed by the City Engineer, including Bid
Alternate No, I.
2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposit made with their bids upon execution of the above-specified
contract,
