RESOLUTION 98-27
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 1998 STREET IMPROVEMENTS
ASSESSMENT RATES.
WHEREAS, upon completion of a preliminary report, the City of Arden Hills ordered the
making if the 1998 Street Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills authorized the preparation of detailed plans and
specifications addressing the necessary requirements ofthe 1998 Street Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined that the 1998 Street Improvements will consist of
two distinct levels of street repair; and
WHEREAS, those levels will be total street reconstruction, and bituminous overlay.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota:
1.
The residential property assessment rate for complete street reconstruction, including
pavement removal, subgrade correction, grading, compaction, concrete curb and gutter
construction, paving, and restoration shall be established at $48.85 per assessable foot of
frontage, as per the City's assessment policy.
2. The residential property assessment rate for bituminous milling and overlay
improvements shall be established at $5.20 per assessable foot of frontage, as per the
City's assessment policy.
