CERTIFICATION
RESOLUTION NO. 98-38
The undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting City Administrator of the City of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, hereby certifies the following:
The foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution on file and of official, publicly
available record in the office of the City. Said resolution was duly adopted by the City
Council at a regular meeting of the Council held on March 30. , 1998. Said meeting
was duly called, regularly held, open to the public, and held at the place at which
meetings of the Council are regularly held. Councilmember Malone moved the
adoption of the resolution, which motion was seconded by Councilmember HICks
whereupon majority vote, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Hills, Minnesota, this 6th day of April ,1998.

RESOLUTION 98-38
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING "NO PARKING" RESTRICTIONS
ALONG MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS.
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has submitted to the Commissioner of Transportation the
plans and specifications for the improvement of Stowe A venue from Cleveland A venue to New
Brighton Road; and
WHEREAS, State Aid Funds will be expended on the improvements ofthis street; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills will assume jurisdiction over the south half of Stowe
A venue between Cleveland Avenue and New Brighton Road; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills had previously assumed jurisdiction over Stowe Avenue
between New Brighton Road and Lake Johanna Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides ofthe
street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal Aid Street project must
therefore, be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Arden Hills
shall ban parking of motor vehicles on the south side of Stowe Avenue between Cleveland
Avenue and New Brighton Road and on both sides of Stowe Avenue between New Brighton
Road and Lake Johanna Boulevard at all times.
