STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF ARDEN HILLS RESOLUTION NO. 98-58 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE GRANT FROM THE MINNESOTA DNR COOPERATIVE TRAILS GRANT PROGRAM FOR TRAIL CONSTRUCTION ALONG COUNTY ROAD F WHEREAS, pursuant to Council Resolution # 98-29 City staff applied for the Cooperative Trails Grant Program sponsored by the Minnesota DNR; and WHEREAS, the trail grant application is for the section oftrail along County Road F between Hamline Avenue and Lexington Avenue. In addition, a trail section would be constructed north along Hamline Avenue to connect with the City's existing trail; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator will be identified as the fiscal agent; and WHEREAS, the Minnesota DNR has notified the City of Arden Hills that the City is eligible to receive a grant in the amount of$50,000, which is the maximum amount granted to a City, to partially fund the trail segment along County Road F and south to the existing City trail; and WHEREAS, the City has until April 15, 2000 to complete the project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Arden Hills, Minnesota that the City Council concurs with the trail development partially funded by the Cooperative Trail Grant Program and names Brian Fritsinger, City Administrator, as the fiscal agent for the proj ect. CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA CERTIFICATION RESOLUTION NO. 98-58 The lmdersigned, being the duly qualified and acting City Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, hereby certifies the following: The foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution on file and of official, publicly available record in the office of the City. Said resolution was duly adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting of the Council held on September 14 ,1998. Said meeting was duly called, regularly held, open to the public, and held at the place at which meetings of the Council are regularly held. Councilmember Aplikowski moved the adoption of the resolution, which motion was seconded by Councilmember Keirn whereupon majority vote, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
