RESOLUTION NO. 98-59
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY FEASIBILITY REPORT IN THE
MATTER OF IMPROVEMENT FOR A PORTION OF WEST ROUND LAKE ROAD
AND THE WEST ROUND LAKE ROAD AND HIGHWAY 96 INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution ofthe Council adopted August 10, 1998, a Preliminary
Feasibility report has been prepared by BRW, Consulting Engineers, with reference to
improvements to a portion of West Round Lake Road and the West Round Lake Road and
Highway 96 intersection within the City of Arden Hills; and
WHEREAS, this report was received by the Council on September 14, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective, and feasible; and
WHEREAS, it is expected that Ramsey County will reimburse the City for the County's share
of the improvement, which is estimated at $337,520.00; and
WHEREAS, informational meetings and public hearings will be scheduled, if necessary, to
gather public input regarding the improvement at a later date.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council ofthe City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, that:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost effective, and feasible as detailed in the Feasibility
Report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Feasibility Report received by the
City Council on the 14th day of September, 1998.
3. BR W, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall
continue with the preparation plans and specifications for the making of such improvements.
