RESOLUTION NO. 98-61
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR
RECYCLING GRANT FUNDS FOR 1999
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is eligible to apply for $19,490.00 in SCORE recycling
grant funds; and
WHEREAS, such funds would assist in continuing and improving the City's recycling program
for 1999.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota, that the City Administrator be authorized to apply for such grant funds for the year of
1999.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS

PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills wishes to recognize the efforts and years of service of
Cynthia Walsh; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Walsh has provided services to the City of Arden Hills in the Parks and
Recreation Department for eight (8) years; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Walsh, during her eight (8) years of employment, with professionalism and
dedication, represented the City as part of many ongoing efforts with its citizens, businesses and
educators; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Walsh has resigned from her position as Community Development Director
effective September 14, 1998, in order to accept a position with the City of St. Louis Park.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY PROCLAIMED THIS 14T11 DAY OF
SEPTEMBER, 1998 by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
The City Council wishes the best to Cynthia Walsh, and expresses their appreciation to
her r her years of service to the citizens of Arden Hills.

At the September 14, 1998 meeting, the Arden Hills City Council publicly adopted a
Proclamation in your honor in appreciation of your many years of service to the
community and extending their best wishes in your future endeavors. I have enclosed an
original of the Proclamation for your personal keeping.
On behalf of the City Council, Arden Hills citizens, and fellow staff members, I'd like to
thank you again for your dedication and hard work during your tenure with Arden Hills.
St Louis Park made a fine selection, and I have confidence you will serve their residents
equally as well as you have ours.
We wish you the best of luck and thank you for your efforts while serving Arden Hills.
