RESOLUTION NO. 98-78
REVISING WATER UTILITY RATES
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1999
WHEREAS, the City Council established a policy to review water rates on an annual basis; and
WHEREAS, the City Council last took action on its water utility rates in 1994; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the utility cost structure and has recommended that the
Arden Hills City Council increase water utility rates; and
WHEREAS, this review has determined that the rate increase is necessary to enable the utility to
remain self-supporting.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills that,
effective January 1, 1999, water utility rates be revised as follows:

Residential 5/8" or 3/4" minimum quarterly charge
Rate per I ,000 gallons of water

The standby rates will not be increased.
