I. Lot size requirement of 9000 sq. ft. per dwelling unit is
about three times larger than required In other communities.
2. Front and rear yard set backs of 30 ft. and 25 ft. Is excessive.
3. Exclusion of double-wides and expandables Is Inconslstant with
the proposed lot sizes.

Mr. William Feyerelsen, 4261 N. Haml ine Avenue, asked the lot rental
charges In mobile home parks and the appro~imate costs of mobl'. homes.
.
Mrs. Adams said their lots rent at $51.00 (smaller lots) and $58.00
(larger lots); most mobile home courts now rent from $65.00 to $75.00
per month.
The cost of mobile homes now renting lots in Arden Manor Is estimated
by Mr. Adams at between $4000 and $10,000; most mobile homes now cost
approximately $6,000 to $12,000.
The Councilmen were invited to visit Arden Manor, and Mrs. Adams offered
to show some of the mobile homes, if this would be desirable.
After discussion, the Council requested Mr. and Mrs. Adams to submit
a letter, or tabulation, of the areas in the ordinance which they
request the Council to reconsider, before a final draft of the ordin-
ance Is prepared.
J. Hollenhorst moved that the Counci I adopt a RESOLUTION RELATING TO
METROPOLITAN COUNCIL, as read and attached, seconded by E. G. Henderson.
Motion carried unanimously.
L. Stromquist was requested to send copies of the resolution to the
legislators and neighboring villages.
Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
