The Minutes,of the June 29� 1959 meating were read and approved as amended. a Mr. Jack Grudposke requested rezoning from Residential to �ommerciaZ some - r� ropert�* owned by him at Highway 96 snf Hamline Avenue. Couneil requestefl �that he submit a le�al description of the land to C1erk. Mr. Harry Adams, representing tha Walter Baztlar Co. requested consideratioq as angineering company for designing proposed sewer s�gstem when it ie to be put in. Couz�cil informed i�br. Adams that to date the �nniater Engineering company has been working op sewer plaps for the 3E portion of village, bug consideration will be given if a sewer enginear is needed for other areas of village at a l�ter date. Council received a request from I�Hrs. Ritter to zone shorewood Hills for sub- s�andard speed because of nerrow roads, blind corners, hilla etc. Motion mede by DeLe.nge, seconded by Crepeau that clerk write to Counby Board to request a 20 mile per hour speed limit in Shorewood Hills. Motion passed. Mr. J.D. Timm, 140� Cummings Iane requested an arc light at Staelling Avanue and Cuuunings T,ane and a reduction of epeed limit on Snelling 2+vanue, if poasible. Timm requested a dead end sign at Cummings Lane. Matter ra£erred to DeLenge. . �, Vogel reported that water collects after heavy rains in f romt of his iveway at Fairview apd Gramsie. Motion made by DeLenge, seconded by Crepeau that Village Attorneg be author- ized to bagin condemnation proceedings to acquiTe a 60 foot right oi wsy with at least 30 feet ota either side of the quarter section line along tne -, so-called Tschida property leading to the �3roposed plat of Husby�s Crestview - apd West past proposed plat of Ausby�s Creatview over t�e Oswald.Tschida property.
