Call to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereot, the meeting was called
to order by Councll'man Ward Hanson.

Present: Mayor Henry J. Cre¢eau, Jr., Councilmen Ward Hanson and
• Robert Woodburn.
Absent: Councilmen Charles Crfchton, James Wingert.
Aiso Present: Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers

A general review of East summer's flooding was conducted togethe�
witb the control fiactlities that are now in place in the district.
At present there is no means af cont�olling periodic high volume
water in a single portion of tha district to hold back 3ts effect
downstream, but there is a lot of data pubiished in the "Lake
Johanna Survey" that could be useful if appited to future ert�r-
gencies, Fortunately, there appears to be no imminent danger
from the sprtng meft thls year.
(t xas concluded the District�s municipai planners, engineers,
ptanning commissions, zoning administrators and counciis would
benefit from a technical seminar on the aforementioned report
and fihe RCWD Board agreed to conduct one before the end of April,
if possible.
