Mayor Kannedy read that part of the PZanning and Zoping Gommittee�s
report, as submitted by Trustee Nethercut, which pertained to this
matter. This Comnittee's recommendatione ware sa followss
1. That the parking plan be modified eo as to keep paxking away
from the iramediate aides of the buildin�, pexmitting landaoaping
slcng the south, eeat and north wella.

Fire Chief Ehlers informed the Council that he hsd been reprimanded
by tha State Fire �Iarahall bacauae of the closing off of en exit
at Lindey�s Prime Steak Houae. Thisaituation ie the reault of the
installation of an airoonditioning system. Mr. Ehlars so informed
Mr, Lindemer, owner of T,indey's Prime Steak Aouae, and wea assured
that a new door would be instelled, but ao far thia hea not been
done.

Mayox Kenpedy atated that the Board of Appeals had gr�nted a variance
to the Building Code to allow two houees to be built an one lot at
the corner of Bedlkman Avenue and Iake Johanne Blvdo The formal aur�
vey of auhdividin� the lot is now being processed. The Soard of
Appeals felt that though the l�ts are not of edequate sizey the gl•ent�
ing of th'i s varisnce reould not be detri:nental to anyone.
