aurface �.Aster and would be willing to cnntribute the agreed amount

Peter S. Popoviah, Fisaal Agenta presented figuree on trie slternate
plan as auUmitted by Banieter L+ngineering Co. at the June 4 Speclal
Meeting. He atated that under thia plan there would be no Rosevills
conneotionp therefore, no asseasment to tYxe reaidents except those
immadietely reaeiving service. There would, however, be an increase
in the miil rate, due to the eliminatioq of certain acreage chargeao
At the requeat of Clerk Lorralne Stromquist, Mr. Popovich gave

reoommended a Citizena� �oa�ittee for s�ditional atudy. He informed
the 4ouncil thet the cOqtaCta he had with the residents indicated
thet they were opposad to water ic.provement plans at this time,
but aeemed to approva the ealargement of the Roaeville mains for
e aystem in the Puttu�o•
• Truatee Nethercut stated that he wea in agreement with Truatee
Olman. He recommended a years atudy due to public opposition.
Trustee Crepeau inquired ea to the posaibility of a pre�arranged
underetanding with Cor►trol Data �orp. and Bethel Co11eEe to b{�y
their aqatema when s vill�ge syatem becomea aveileale,

Truatee Crepeau, mxt Yelt that due to the lack of aupport from the
reaidentei would aBree to e years atudy. She stated that ahe doea
not feel free to vote ip favor of the plan due to the majority of
reeidente in apposition.

Meyor Kennedy inPOrmod the Council that any aubatantial deviation
from the original proposal would necesaitate a new proposal, publia
hearing, etc.
