COURTNEY e Ordinance Draft, Village LIcensing - Second ReadIng After Attorney Courtney read the ordinance draft In Its entirety, It was moved by Henderson, and seconded by Hollenhorst that AN ORDINANCE ESTABLiSHiNG A TABLE OF LICENSE FEES, IMPOSING PENALTIES FOR LATE PAYMENT OF FEES AND REVISING AFFECTED LICENSiNG ORDINANCES be adopted as read, waiving the thlra reading. Motion carried unanimoUSly. Henderson moved, seconded by Herrick, that, because of the late pas- sage of the ordinance, the prescribed penalty fees be effective atter February ~, ~972, Instead of January I, 0972. Gale Circle - Ground Cover Engineer D. Christoffersen advised the Council that approxImately 600 cubic yards of gravel fill over the water line, at an estImated cost of S2000, would be requDred to prevent freezing of the water line on Gale Clrcgo. Revised Corrective Population Count A copy of a memo to Gordon M. FaV. Henderson moved. seconded by Herrick. that the Council appeal to the Tax Commissioner for permission to certify the 1972 Budget as It stands, requesting also that the penalty be abated. The motion carried unanimously. Henderson advised that a meeting with the Tax Commissioner has be.n scheduled on January 4. 1972. Clerk was requested to verify the time and place of the meeting. and to send notices to the Council.
