ABSEIvT : i�tayor Robert Ashbach _ The purpose of this meeting was to discuss informally plans for a road program which would be necessary following the sewer improvement program. PRESENT: Council members, Kennedy, Crepeau, Stromquist, Qlmen The following motions wero made; 1. Kennedy movad, Olmen aeconded that we agproach the road problem by havin� one o*�erall hearing on all roads to be improved this next year. Carried. � 2. Kennedy moved, Olmen seconded that the En�ineere prepare estixaates of road costs bp ares as divided by the seever projects, i.e. Estimate for roads in tt n n n n n n u n Sewer Imp. � ° #2 ^ #3 ° #4 This estimate to be base3 on a minimum type or better road according to the engineer•�s recommend- ation. When these estimates are prepared, Mr. Olmen ia to have an informe.l mass meeting for each separate area to get the feeling of the re�idants of that area and their recommendations. Mr. Robert Kerr discuased the poasibility of buainesa and industrial development.in the Village and the advantage of long range planning. Mr, Vic Pomerenke gave a shott talk on park and playground acquiaition and developmept and the proposed correlatlon of recreational pxograms witn the Villege and the school district. The group sa a whole favored a more definite program of lon� range planning and Mayor Ashback aesured them that taoth he and the Couneil would give the matters attention. The meeting adjourned.
