14r. Harr> Ehlers asked tne Council f'or their opinion on renting out the
old fir•e station. He had been approached by a car clu to rent it for
a meeting place and a place to overhaul cars. The Council dissapproved
of renting to tne car club but reconunedded tne possibility of sellin it
•to tne fiarasey County Library or possibly selling it to the Village to rent
to the Library. NIayor Ashbach offered to investigate these possibilites.
ranister ngineering Company Hoport
Ifix. Short presented a cost pict:re to tne Council re: the changing of
the server line on Stowe Avenue from the street, as originally planned to
the rear o- the properties. The determining factor rests with the final
plat of the C. G. Rein preperty. The Council agreed that the sewer should
be held up temporarily until Jones, Popovich or Courtney caq meet with
Rein to obtain a letter of intent plus a bcnd to uarantee the payment of
the cost of' tne setiver.
Tv?ayor Ashbach set a tentative meeting date for August 11, 1960 at noon to
meet with Contractor Lametti re: Improvement #3 in tne area of Tiller 7ane.
Utr, Short reported tnat the assessment roll is read,y. He requested the
Councilts decision regardin joint service connections. Jones moved that
each property be chared ;50.OQ in that both parties benefit whether it
• is a joint connection or a single connection. Seconded by Crepeau. Carried
iYr. Short reco-iir.ended that, because IvIr. Holland Seltz pays general taxes
to tne Village of Hoseville, his sevaer assesment ira the L'illage of AYden
Hills be based on r0 feet, rather than his ctual 100t frontage. Council
agreed.
rir, Short reco:rmended an assessmant for Nazareth Hall of 16,340.00, based
on the 834 frontage on Asbury plus the line runnin into.their property.
This was given Couneil approval.
Jones rnoved the adoption of the resolution advertising for bids for Sani-
