The meeting was called to order at 7;00 F. ;�?. by Acting T�iayor Crepeau.

• The miqutes of the July 25, 1960, meeting were read and approved.
A complaint was received by.trie Council re: a dangeT•ous pond on tne
G;'illiam Zilliox property which lies directiy north of the properties
on the north side of Tiller Lane.
The Council advised iV[r. Zilliox, who �uas present at tne meeting, that
the pond must be draine@ immediatel„ and recorrunended a te;nporary ditch-
ing along the south lipe of' his property. The cost o£ this ditch would
be shared by the Village. Pdr, Zilliox�s cost would not exceed �250.00,
ar.d the expense now incu2�r.�ed bq P�ir. Zilliox ��*ould later be credited to
him against any future assessment for a germanent type starm se�ver or
ditch. Jones, Ca.rle�r and the attorney are to sneet with Mr. Zilliox to
work out this plan.
Mr. YVilliam IvicGuire and !�Tr. J'oseph Lambert presented tr.e plans for th�
•r•estaurant addition to i�,icGuire�s on County Road E, to the Council for
approval. Jones moved tne plans be ac�proved subject to approval of the
building inspector. Seconded by Crepeau. Carr3ed.
17s�. Iti4cGuire also requested setiver service for his establishment. The
Council agreed to meet with the Engineers and tne Hightivay Department
to trp to get a definite coramittment from them and arran�;e for sewer
bef'ore the building is completed in November, 1960.
Pdr. Arihur Brom, 3415 Lake Johanna Boulevard, presented plans for
Council approval for tne completion oi' hie house, whicn Building
Inspector, Clay Ka11ey, states are under the requirements for mini-
mum square f'oota�e under the Building Code. Sone� moved the plans be
approved and the building to be completed within 1 year. Seconded by
Crepeau. Carx�ied.
t�4r. Kegley stated that he inspected Iti�arge and Hu�o�s establishment on
County Road D, regardin� their request to improve tne interior of the
•building. Kelley recomrnended tne improvements. Jones moved the request
be granted. Seconded by Crepeau. Carried.
N1rs. i,Tildred Carlson preser.ted a letter to t'r.e Council that she had re-
caived fro�n tne Board of Appeals. Jones moved that tne matter be referred
to ttie attorney Lo draw up tne necessary papers f'or a conditional use
per•mit and notice of public hearing. Seconded by Strcmquist. Carried.

effective only wnile her son lives tnerel The apartment may not be later
rented out,
Yr. Leo Leialay, 1291 Amble ftoad, stated that Amble P.oad is in need of re-
pairs. The matter was referred to Jones to handle.
