• The minutes of' the june 27, 1960 raeeting were r•ead and appr•oved.
P+ir. Geor�e Indykievricz, 1966 Hi�;hvrag 96, came before the Council v��ith
a request to rezone his p1Gt, knowt� ss Round Lake fiills, from residential
to comniercial. He tivas advised that it is not i:he policy of the conncil
io rezone an area without knowin� what it would be used for. Nr. Indykieyvic
ivas advised to first find an appropriate business for the descr•ibed area,
and �'r,en request the rezoning;.
1�Tr. Eert r�klund of Larson ::ealty Co, 2431 Hennepin Ave., ivipls. requested
a permit transf'er to operate the Trailer Park at 4762 High�ay 8, from
T. Dorholt to itr. and PSrs. F'red Kosslak, 3706 Humbolt Ave.I�o., tlipls.
Kennedy moved that a new permit be issued to idir, and �r�rs, rred Kasslak to
operqte t`.e TrailerPark, supje�'t to their making appiication for same with
the C1erY.. The permit tc be non-transferrable. Seconded by Crepeau.

Mr. Hugo ,T, Johnson, 1521 lOth Avenue South, iri.pls., requested approval

And;��s Place, 19ti5 VJest County Rd. D. Crepeau moved that tentative
approval be given, subject to inspecti.on by the Finance Committee. Jones
seconded. Carr•ied.
�,7r. Joe Fesch, 1966 �dgewater, requested Council approval of a joint
sewer connecti.on with nis neighbor, ?�-tr. Joseph Dority. Jones moved tnat
t;�e rec;uest be granted if both parties concerned are ip mutual agreesrient.
Crepeau seconded. Carried.
P;�r. Daniel Fourre; 1887 Graha�r,, St. Faul, an arcnitect, presented a des-
cription of' the day school buildino and p�aygrounds that have been start-
ed on t'r_e i�az�reth �Iall preperty, and raquested approval of a building
perrnit to be issued to the general centractor upon nis application. Council
unanimously approved �ubject to approval of ?3uilding Inspector, Clay Yelley.
i�Ir. John Hoge, 1055 9rcade, of Hoge iriell Gonpany requested a copy of the
proposed well ordinance arzd oif'ered tolaptAke suggestions to aid the V"i112�e
�in tne drafting of' the ordinance before the final draft is made. ivir.

vray 96 to County Road F, and East of Highway 10 to Hamline Avenue is now

Pdr. Crepeau repor e that the best offer he received for the old Link police
radio was y�25.00. ;lia� or Ashbach offered to try his hand at negotiating for
a better ofier. The matter was referred to Niayox° Ashbach to handle,
Pfr. Crepeau re�orted that ron Saxon Ford was the low bidder on the new
squad car. Jones moved tne car be ordered for delivery on or about Sept. 1,
1960. Kennedq seconded. Carried.
?aTr. Lon Carley, Village Engineer, stated that the corner of Asbury and
Edgewater had been reported to him as being a dangerous blind corner.
The matter �vas ref'erred to Chief Weber for his 9.nvesti�ation and report
to Jones..
�;�r. Popovich, Village Bond Consultant, suggested that August 4, 1960, be
set f'or the �p400,000.00 �ond s�lWe for Sewer Improvement �2. I�,�ir. Kennedy

an inspector siiould be selected by tY�e Village to insgect the work as it
progresses. 14r, Jones moved that Banister Engineering Company be engaged
as inspectors for Improvement �2, Yrojects 1 and 2. Seconded by Crepeau.

arsenal, wasepresented to the Council for approval. idir. Jones introduced

The first quartes° report for the L�Jagon 1�Jhee1 Inn was presented to the
� Council.
Attorney/�curtney�s letter cvas read by 'eTayor Ashbach re: the Grudnoske
building permit request, the tabulatiens of bids for the police car and
the request for permit transfer for operating the trailer park. Attorney
Courtney�s bill for the first half of 1960 was also read and the council
unanimously approved payment.
• A letter frosn ��lozr,iak & iJ�urray, Attorneys for Ralpn Curella, enclosing
a claim for `�10,450.00 was presented to tne Council. The matter was re-
Ferred to the attorney to handle.
