meeting to order afi 5:55 p.m.

Archf?ect Horty reviewed the seven bids recei•ved, ranging from
$126,990 to 5155,900, noted that on a natlonal besis medtan cost
tor fihts type of garage ts E28.20 per square foot. Deducting ex-
tras involved in this proJect (screen walls, redxood fence,
demoEitfon, gas tank reiocatian, water line, bin relocation,
blacktopping) results in a building cost of $02U,100 or $28.60
per square foot for 3,200 square feet tground tloor) a�d 1,000
square feet (balcony). Horty stated that the low bid was a rea-
sonable price tor the proJect, bldder indicated B60 days to com-
plete. would Itke to get started immediately.
Wingert moved, seconded by Hanson,.that b.id 6e awarded to R. C.
Dahlstrom, low bidder at $126,990. Motion carried unanimously.

Hanson moved, seconded by Wingert, that Dan Winkel be emptoyed to
fil! vacancy in Pubiic Works Department at a salary of 36.25 per
hour - salary to be revfeaed after six months. Motion carried
unanlmously.
Adjournment
Hanson moved, seconded by Wingert, that meeting adjourn at 6:18
p.m. Motion carrled unanlmously.
