Pursuant to due call and notice tisereof, a reqular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Ramsey
• County, Minnesofz, was duly held in the Village Hall in said
village on Monday, the 8th day of July, 1963 at 8s00 o'clock P,M.

NUMBERED 3, 4 and 5.
WH5i2�AS resolutions were passed by the Village Council of
the Villaqe of Arden Hills on the lOth day of September, 1962
directing the Village Clerk to prepare proposed asses�ments of
the cost of Street Improvements numbered 3, 4, and 5, and
WHEit�AS the Clerk notified the Council on September 24, 1962
that such proposad assessments were completed and ffled ia her
office for public inspection and,
WHEREAS on September 24, 1962 the village Council set a
date for hearings on the original assessments and in accordance
� with the Statute relating thereto duly called and held said
hearings on the 23rd, 2�4th, aad 25th days of October, 1962,
and subsequent to said hearings, said Village Council adopted
resolutions dated October 29, 1962 adopting said assessmeats
and subsequent thereto on November 30, 1%2 certified aaid
assessment rolls to the County Auditor of Ramsey County, and
tat�REAS pursuant to M. S. 429.071 the Village Council
may make supplementary assessments to correct omissions, errors
or au,stakes in the original asseasments and
WHEREAS a number of property owners affected by said
� orig3nal assessments have raised inquiry reqarding posaible
errors, omission� or incorrect assessmenfis and,
WHSRFAS the Village Clerk of saic3 village has natified said
property owners that proposed reassessment and supplemental
assessment hearinqs would be held someti.me during 1963 after the
Council had the opportunity of determining such details, and
t�REAB the Village Clerk of the Village of Arden Hills has a
list af all of the property owners in said village aftected and
who have requested theopportunity of appearing before the Council
in resseessment hearings to point out thenature of their aomplaints
and
tRF�REAS several tracta of land upon which aasessments hava
heretofore been levied have subsequently been platted and
subdivided and appor�ionments must be made therefor,
NOW Tf�i2F.k'O.YE BE IT RESOLVED BY TE3E VILLAGB COUNCIL of the
Village of Arden fiilla, Minnesota as followe:
1. Pursuant to M. S. 429.071, in order to dispose of the
matters above mentioned, hearings shall be held on the 6th day
oi August, 1963 in the Village Iiall at 8:00 o'clock P.M. to
pass upon such proposed supplemenial reassessment and respportiQn-
ment of original assessments and at suah time and piace all
• persons owning property affected thereby will be given an oppar-
tunity to be heard with reference to such original aesessment.
2. The village Clerk is hereby directed to cawse notice of
said reapportiomaent, reassessment and suppl�nentei assessment
hearings Yo be published once ia the official newepaper o# said
vil2age at least two weeks prior to the hearing, atating in said

Chambers in the Villag� Hall in said Village on Tuesday, August 6.
1963, at 8:00 o`clock P,M. to hear, consider, and pass upon all
written or osal objections, if any, to proposed supplemental
assessments, reassessments and apportionment of previous aesess-
• ments in respect to Street Improvement No. 3, said original
hearing being held on October 23, 1962 and said assessment roll
as amended being adopted October 29, 1962 and certified to the
County Auditor on November 30, 2962, upon properties herei:ofoxe
determined to be assessable therefor. The assessment roll as
amended and adopted October 29, 1962 is on file and open to public
inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Village
Clerk and was certified to the County Auditor on Nov�nber 30,
1962. Amounts assessed against any parcel of land are payable
in 10 equal, consecutive annual installments, the first of such
installments payable with general taxes for the year 1962,
collectib2e with such taxes during the year 1963, The first
fnstallment payable with interest at the rate of 5% per annum

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the V'illage Council of the
Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, will meet in the Council

NOiICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Villaga Council of the
Village o£ Arden Sills, Minnesota, will meet in the Council
Chambers of the Viliage Hall in said VilZage on Tuesday, August 6,
1963, at 8:00 o`clock P.M. to hear. consider, and pass upon all
written or oral ohjections, if any, to proposed �upplemental
• assessments, reassessments and apportionmen� of previous assess-
inents in respect to Street Improvement No. 5, said original
hearinq being held on October 25, 1962 and said assesement roli
as amended being adopted oatober 29, 1962 end certified to the
County Auditor on November 30, 1962, upon properties here�ofore
determined to be assessable therefor, The assessment roll as
amended and adopte8 october 24, 1962 is on file and open to public
inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Village
Clerk and was c�rtified to the County Auditor on PJovember 30,
1962. Amounts assessed against any parcel of land are payable
in 10 equal, consecutive annual installments, the first of such
installments payable with general taxes for the year 1962,
collectible with such taxes during the year 1963. The first
installments payable wieh interest at the rate of 5% per anmun
from the assessment oE October 29, 1962 to December 31, 1962
and each eubsequent 3natallment payable with one yesr's interest
at said rate. No interest was charged if said assessment was
paid at the office of the Village Treasurer within 30 days from
the date of the adoption of �he assessment roll.
The purpo�e of said hearing is to make supplementary
assessments to correct omiasions, errors or mistakes in the original
assessment; proposed reassessments and apportionments of assess-
ments on parcels of property that have subsequently been p].atted
and sexbdivided sinee the original asseasment. A list of all of the
lots and parcela oflan@ as to which itis proposed to make
such supplemental assessments, reassessments and reapportionment
is on Eile and open to public inspection by all persons interested,
in the office of the Village Clerk.
The general nature of Strest Imvrovement No. 5 consisted
of the grading and surfacing of the village streets described
below, including the construction of storm sewers necessary and
incidental thereto. The area included in the original assessment
roll certified to the County Auditor ofe�amsey County included
each lot and parcel ofland abutting on a street deeignated
