RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING LONG RANGE PLANNIPIG WI�PfIS5I0N

WHEREAS, for a number of years a Planning Commission composed of resident:
of the Village of Arden Aills 'has< acted as an informal advisory body to the
Village Council, and
FTHEREAS, it is desirable and appropriate to confirm and establish said
Planning Commission under the provisions of Chapter 471 of Minnesota Statutes
Annotated, and particularly Section 471.32 thereof,
NOW THBREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Long Range Planning Commission
of Arden Hills is hereby created and established for all of the purgoses and
with all of the powers and authority referred to in Chapter 4Z1 of Minnesota
Statutes Annotated and laws amendatory and supplementary thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Co�ission shall operate under the
chairmanship of Gerald Buetow, and shall include the other members set forth
on the list attached hereto, all of said members being resident citizens of
the Village o£ Arden Hills. Said chairman and said members shall continne as
members of said Commission uatil further action by this Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Commission shall advise the Council on

such matters as may be referred to it by the Council from time to time, and
shall further advise and report to the Council on such other matters as the
Commission may in its discretion consider necessary and proper for the fnture
welfare of the Village.
