Atty. courtney presented a rough draft of the proposed billbOard
ordinance and copies of the Rosevllle and Shoreview billboard ordinanoes,
Matter referred to Clerkvs oifice to supply suffioient oopies of the
draft to supply various COllJlllittees for study.
Vessey Matter
Atty. Courtney reported that an appraiser has valued the village owned
property between the Vessey and Thompson ~roperties at $500. which is
a figure reduoed approximately one~half .ecause of village easements
on this property. Matter referred to Village Atty. to negotiate with
/- 1~. Vessey and ~r. Thompson with the intention of finalizing the tuo
" pending easements with Mr. Vessey and retaining the two village ease=
ments on this property.

Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota,
was duly held at the village Hall in said village on Thurs. ,
. the E- day of Deoember 1963, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.

Kennedy, Crepeau, Olmen & Stromquist
and the following were absent:
Ashbach
Trustee Kennedy introduced en d moved the
adoption of the following resolution:
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
REPORT ON SANITARY SID'7ER IMPROVEMENT NO.6
WHEREAS it is proposed to improve a part of the north east
portion of the Village of Arden Hills, State of Minnesota, for the
purposes of eventually providing sanitary sewer servicet and to
assess the benefited property for a portion of the cost of the
improvement. pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1961, Section 429,
NOH THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the village COuncil of the
Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
That the proposed improvement be referred to Banister
Engineering Company for study and that they are instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the
COuncil in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement
. or any part thereof is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement,
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Member Crepeau , and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present
and the following voted against the same: None
wlereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
