of the Village Couneil of the Village of Arden Hilla, Minnesota. was
duly held at the take Johanna Elementary School in Illld Village on
Wednesday, the eleventh day of October, 1961 at 8100 o'clock P.M.
Th. following members were pre..nt: Ash~chJ Stromquist.
Olmen. Kennedy and Crepeau
and the following were absent: None

Th. Village Clerk presented an affidavit showing publlcation
of notice of hearing on the proposed a..essment for Sanitary
Sewer Improvelll8nt No.3 in the Rose Tribune on September 21 and
September 28, 1961,in acc~rdenc. with the r.solution adopted
September 18, 1961. which affidavit was examined,found sathfactory,
and ordered plac.d on fil..
The Mayor announced that the ..Ung w.. open forth.considera-
tion of objeetions, if any~ to uid proposed ...eument. All persons
present were then given an opportunity to pre..nt oral objection.,
and all written objections th.retofor. fil.ci with the Villag. Clerk
were presented and consid.red. and all such objections wer. tabulated
as follows:

ASSESS'AENTS POR SANITARVSEW!R IMPR~MENfNO. :3
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially a.s....d at
this time for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 2 against every a...ss-
able lot, piece or parcel of land affected thereby has been duly
calculated upon the basis of benefits, without r~ard to cash
val uation, in accordanee with the provisions of nnnota Statutes.
Chapter 429, and notic. has been duly published, as required by law,
that this Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all
objections, if any. and said proposed assessment has at aU times
sinn its fi ling been open for public inspection,and anopcortunity
has been given to all inter.sted persons to present their 0 jections,
if any, to such proposed assessments and saidproposedaue....nt haa
been a..nded as to certain parcels of land, by resolution duly
adopted this date.
2. This Council, having heard and considered all objections so
presented, and being fully advised in the preed..., finds that each
of the lots, pieces and parcels of land enumerated!n the proposed
as....lMnt as so amended was and is speCially be~f1ted by the
It construction of said improvement!n not less than the 8110unt of the
au.nment s.t opposite the description of eil(;h 6uch lot, piece al\d
parcel of land, nspecUvely, and s\.lch amount so .et out is her. by
levied against each of the respective lots, pieces and parcels of
land therein described.
3. The proposed iUsessments aa a_nded ue hereby adopted .
and confirmed as the proper special a,,"sMnte for each. of sa1dlots,
piece. andpll.'celsof land respectively, and the asse6llllltnt against
each parcel. together with inter..t at the rate of ~% puannum
accruing on the full amount ther.of hom time to time unpa1.d, shall
be a lien concurrent with general taxes upon such parcel and all thereof
The total amount of each such assea.lllent shall be payable in equal
annual principal installments extending over a periolof twenty

of payment to the VIllage Treasurer, but no interest shall be charged
if such payment is mlde wi thin 3D-.days after the date of thll resolu-
tion.
5. The Village Clerk shall. as loon as lllCIy be, prepare and
transmit to the County Jludltor a eertifieddupl1cate of the assessment
roll, with each installment and interest on each unpaid asses~nt
set f~th separately. to be extended u~on the proper tax lists of the
County, and the County Auditor shall t exuft.to collect said assess-
ments in the manner provided by law.
